Statement on the current international crisis

UHECR2022 organizers express their concern for Russian military offensive in Ukraine and the terrible consequences on millions of persons including some of their colleagues. They also extend the deepest sympathy and solidarity to them and to all the victims of conflicts worldwide.

Scientific activity has historically been open and inclusive, even during many difficult years in the past, and is an extraordinary bridge between different countries and cultures. Science and scientists should continue to set powerful examples for international collaborations and be strong peace drivers across the world.
