Rectorate Building, GSSI
The school will take place at the Auditorium of the Gran Sasso Science Institute (GSSI), located at the Rectorate Building, in Via Michele Iacobucci, 2 - 67100 L'Aquila.
Contributed talks will be held at the GSSI Rectorate Building (session A) and at the GSSI Gymnasium building (session B). The Gymnasium building is located in Viale Francesco Crispi, 7, on the opposite side of the street with respect to the Rectorate building. A map showing the GSSI buildings is available here.
The Welcome Reception on Sunday, February 9th, will be held at the GSSI Rectorate Building, Via Michele Iacobucci 2, starting from 7.00 PM.
The meeting point for the Snowshoeing Excursion will be at the GSSI Gymnasium Building, located in Viale Francesco Crispi 7 at 8.15 AM.
GSSI is an international PhD school and a center for advanced studies in physics, mathematics, computer science and social sciences, located in the heart of L'Aquila historic city centre. L'Aquila is a city in the centre of Italy, at about 110 Km (68 miles) to the east of Rome. It is situated in the heart of the mountainous region of the Abruzzi at a height of 721 metres above sea level.
