 nsitivity of CUORE bolometers to mechanical disturbances makes the detecto
 r susceptible also to ambient seismic noise. In particular\, variations in
  the noise level below 1 Hz have been observed in correlation with microse
 ismic activity associated with ocean wave motion.  The seminar will retr
 ace the experimental path that led to the identification of this correlati
 on and will present the methods used to compare detector data with seismic
  observations. Ongoing studies aim at distinguishing the contribution of t
 he marine source from the local site response at the Gran Sasso National L
 aboratories will also be presented\, together with the investigation of th
 eir possible role in the transmission of low-frequency noise to the detect
