Lectures: 16 hours

Course content
 The material is based on the lecture notes "The Monge-Ampere equations and its applications" by Alessio Figalli and it will consist of 8 lectures of 2 hours. The plan is to cover:
1) The existence and uniqueness theory of Alexandrov solutions and its application to the Minkowski problem.
2) The continuity method for the existence of smooth solutions and the apriori estimates of Pogorelov.
3) The regularity theory for weak solutions and its application to the optimal transport problem.
