Timetable and workload   
Lectures: 8 hours

Course content   
The first two lectures will describe the main properties of Poisson processes, following the book of Kingman, and the convergence of Poisson process under Euler and diffusive scalings. The next two lectures will be dedicated to graphs constructed on point processes (factor graphs), perfect simulation of interacting processes, ideal gases, and hard rod processes.
