Course description and outcomes

An A-free measure is a measure which satisfies a differential constraint. Some applications of this instance relate to: compensated compactness, necessary and sufficient conditions for lower semicontinuity of functionals along A-free sequences (A-being a first order differential operator with constant coefficients) and some structural theorems for BV and BD functions. The goal of these lectures is to introduce and discuss some recent results of De Philippis, Rindler and collaborators.
